AYSO University Sign-On Course Purchase Instructions

Welcome to AYSO’s new online education portal: AYSOU! AYSOU features an online learning catalog filled with courses needed to become AYSO certified in disciplines ranging from coach education to referee training to management instruction. Here you will be able to access your online learning materials at your own pace, instantly obtain certification and revisit course content at any time. Some courses also include a supplemental eBook for which there is a nominal fee.

Instructions on setting up and accessing your training eBooks will be sent upon purchase. Follow these easy steps to get started on the new AYSOU site.

Tools Needed to Get Started

AYSOU can be accessed through most web browsers, desktop computers and mobile devices. In order to maximize your learning experience, you will 
need a few things to get started. 

Accessing AYSOU

In order to access the AYSOU site, you will need: 

• A computer, tablet or mobile phone device with internet access
• An internet browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
• Your Blue Sombrero username and password.
• Download the corresponding apps as follows. 

Accessing Your eBooks on Your Desktop

If you wish to access and view your eBook on your computer's desktop, you will need: 

• A computer, tablet or mobile phone device with internet access
• The LockLizard Safeguard Viewer Application for Windows found here or   
  The LockLizard Safeguard Viewer Application for Mac OSX found here.  

Accessing Your eBooks on Your Mobile Device

If you wish to access and view your eBook on your mobile device, you will need: 

• A tablet or mobile phone device with internet access
• The Safeguard Viewer App found in the Google Play Store or 
  The Safeguard Viewer App found on the App Store.

Accessing Your eBooks on the Web Viewer

If you do not wish to access and view your eBook via your desktop or mobile device, you will need: 

• Computer, tablet or mobile phone device with internet access. 
• Your LockLizard licensing login credentials to log in here. 

Tools Needed to Get Started

1. Use your existing Blue Sombrero account username and password to log on to AYSOU. If you do not have an account, please click here to register.
2. With your username and password, log on to AYSOU to access the online learning account.
3. Once you have signed on, you are now ready to browse the AYSOU eCommerce storefront to review and purchase your online training courses.

Accessing My Courses

The My Courses tab on the navigation menu contains the list of your available courses. By default, you will have access to AYSO’s Safe Haven and the CDC Head’s Up Concussion Awareness course, at no cost. 

Accessing the AYSOU Product Storefront

The AYSOU eCommerce storefront can be found in two places: the site’s navigation menu at the top of the page and at the site’s footer. Both of these will redirect you to the eCommerce storefront. 

1. Navigate to the AYSOU storefront by finding the eCommerce button on the navigation bar, located on the top of the site’s page. 
2. Click on the button to browse through the available products and learn more details about each one. Courses are immediately available upon purchase!
3. If you are looking for specific categories, browse through the Categories panel on the left side of the site to find what course is best for you.
